Insurance that works for you

Colten Zamrzla

Colten’s hometown is Kearney and he started in insurance during his junior year in high school. He was training to be a lifeguard when a family friend invited him to intern at his insurance agency. Preferring air conditioning in the summer, he gave the internship a shot and feel in love with the industry.

Colten was licensed at 18 years old and went to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he got his bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management & Insurance. During his college years, he interned at a local agency, and upon graduation, he started working there full time. During his time there, his focus was on commercial and nonprofit accounts from all sizes and industries. He furthered his studies by achieving the CPCU designation in 2017.

Now at Covenant Insurance Services, Colten has broadened his focus to handling all things Property & Casualty for individuals, families, businesses, and nonprofits. His approach is unique, focusing on risk management rather than insurance, as insurance is only one method of managing risk.
